As a college student, she earned the distinction of being a University of Arizona All-American first baseman and pitcher. Her Honda Award was also given in 2002 and 2001 when Arizona won the softball championship in the nation. Wounded Warriors (WWAST's) objective is to increase consciousness about the strength and sacrifices of our troops by hosting softball-related exhibitions.
